Has maintained effective working relationships over the years with the FSC, the Registrar of Companies, the Mauritius Revenue Authority and with the leading banks in Mauritius which puts Imara in a strong position in Mauritius.
Holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Buckingham (U.K) and an MBA from the University of Leicester (U.K). Also a member of STEP.

Involved with the Wulfsohn family interests in numerous businesses across Central and Southern Africa over many years.
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked at Arthur Andersen, London, in the Corporate Financial Services and Turnaround division; Holds the Investment Management Certificate of the Institute of Investment Management and Research, London and a BSc (Hons) from Manchester University.

He completed his articles of clerkship with Ernst & Young and subsequently joined Imara Corporate Finance Zimbabwe, where he was an Executive Director by the time he left to join Syfrets Corporate and Merchant Bank.
At Syfrets, he initially headed the venture capital subsidiary and was later Managing Director of Syfrets Asset Management, a position which he held until 2006 when he returned to Imara Corporate Finance in South Africa. Brighton has been Financial Director for the South African group of companies since 2008.
